More than Words: Teaching Conversation Remotely with Video Calls

Description: Schools may be closed, but the learning hasn’t stopped! Adult ESL teachers and tutors are finding creative ways to help learners continue to develop their English skills. In this webinar, learn how to use phone video calls (using apps like FaceTime and WhatsApp) and explore their advantages and limitations as an instructional platform. Discover a variety of ESL conversation activities that can be effectively used remotely, and have the opportunity to try several out with fellow tutors.

Please note that you may be asked to participate in discussion groups during the webinar. Please plan to join us from a quiet setting where you can see the PowerPoint slides and use your audio.

CEUs will be emailed to participants after the webinar, typically within 1-2 business days. Please note that if you miss more than 15 minutes of the session, we are unable to issue you CEUs.
