A planned gift to the Literacy Minnesota ensures that literacy learners will get the tools to be self-sufficient and productive members of their families and communities. Anyone with a commitment to the well-being of their community – both now and in years to come – can make a planned gift, and create a legacy of an educated and connected community. To learn more about how to make planned gift, please visit our planned giving page, or make a confidential call or send an email to Susan Godon, Development Director, 651-251-9092 or sgodon@literacymn.org.
The transfer of stock is an excellent way to support Literacy Minnesota’s mission and services, while also obtaining potential tax benefits. If you are interested in this option, please email our development director Susan Godon at sgodon@literacymn.org or call 651-251-9092.
You can initiate a grant recommendation from your Donor Advised Fund (DAF). Please use our legal name and tax ID: Literacy Minnesota, Tax ID: 23-7217182. Transferring funds from an IRA to the Literacy Minnesota is an effective way of creating a legacy of education and empowerment. If you are 70 ½ or older, you can distribute funds from your IRA directly to the literacy council, which reduces your taxable income. Download a sample letter for your IRA administrator.
You can make us stronger by donating goods or services. Learn more about donating children's books.
If you have a monthly recurring gift and need to update your payment information or gift amount, please contact Susan: sgodon@literacymn.org of 651-251-9092.
Literacy Minnesota knows you care about how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate you trusting that we will do so carefully and sensibly. See our donor privacy policy.
