VISTA Leaders (AmeriCorps VISTA) (St. Paul, Literacy Minnesota main office) Do you have a year of full-time experience with AmeriCorps VISTA, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps State/National (1700 hours) or NCCC? Flex your leadership muscles! Become a VISTA Leader and support your fellow national service members as they eliminate educational barriers for underserved children, youth, adults or families.

Summer Reads Outreach Specialist (Ampact - AmeriCorps) (St. Paul, Literacy Minnesota main office) Fight the summer slide! Use your prior experience teaching and/or tutoring to provide peer mentorship to Youth Learning and Enrichment Fellows, who will make a lifelong impact on children, youth, and adults this summer.
*1 position for service term June - August 2024.

  • As a Literacy Leader, you'll pave the way for stronger literacy programs in local communities! You'll tackle educational barriers for low-income, immigrant or refugee children, youth, adults or families.

Summer Reads (Ampact - AmeriCorps) Secure your spot for Summer Reads 2024! Join us for 3 months of learning and fun next summer!

  • As a Youth Learning and Enrichment Fellow with Summer Reads, you'll foster a love of reading for children and youth (primarily K-5) and help families break down barriers to education and economic security while growing your leadership skills.
    *Anticipated 51 positions for service term June - August 2024.

Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) (AmeriCorps State/National) Literacy Minnesota's 2023-2024 Community Technology Empowerment Project (CTEP) position is now open for applicants! This position will be focused on direct service and capacity-building projects related to digital literacy and distance learning at two of Literacy Minnesota's Open Door Learning Centers: Arlington Hills and Midway.
