What's the Question?

Purpose: To to give students practice generating comprehension questions.

Materials: None.

Preparation Time: None.

Procedure: . 

Review the question stems with learners (Who..., What..., When..., Where..., Why..., How...). 

Model the activity by sharing an "answer" with the students and then sharing some possible questions.

      For example, Answer: Tuesday

                   Possible questions: What is the day after Monday? What is the day before Wednesday? When are we going to the zoo?"

Share another "answer" have the students generate questions.

Share another "answer" and have students work in pairs, teams or individually.
