Vocabulary Conversation

Purpose: To practice using vocabulary words during a conversation.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes

Materials Needed: List of 3-10 vocabulary words from current unit (less words for lower levels, more words for higher levels).

Procedure:

1. Put the learners into partners.
2. Give each pair a list of vocabulary words.
3. Have the learners initiate a conversation. During their conversation, they must use all of the words on the list. As they use a word, they check the word off of the list.
4. Once all of the learners are finished, ask for pairs to volunteer to repeat their conversation in front of the class.
