Are you interested in learning how to effectively prepare people for their citizenship test? Curious how to move a citizenship class or tutoring session to an online platform? Want to hear what other teachers are doing to help learners reach their citizenship goals?

Literacy Minnesota has a recorded version of our newest webinar, Teaching Citizenship Online, which can be registered for and viewed on your own time. Learn from Jessica Horning, an experienced citizenship teacher, as she describes her teaching process and shares tips and resources for remote instruction.

In order to view the webinar and access the materials, sign up through this link: https://mnliteracy.secure.force.com/training/CnP_PaaS_EVT__ExternalRegistrationPage?event_id=a210W00000BX2u1QAD.

Once you’ve registered, you’ll be sent an email with a link to the recording, and a link to a webpage where you can download a copy of the slides, Jessica’s list of resources, and the webinar reflection form. Complete the webinar reflection form and submit it to Literacy Minnesota to receive CEUs for completing the webinar and to have it count towards your Foundations of Remote Instruction Certification. Contact Kelly Rynda at krynda@literacymn.org for questions about the registration process.

Happy viewing!
