Important Organizational Update

Literacy Minnesota recently made the difficult decision to reduce staff in response to a budget shortfall. These changes allow the organization to stabilize operations and continue providing critical literacy programs across Minnesota. We are deeply grateful to our departing colleagues for their contributions and remain committed to supporting learners and strengthening literacy access statewide.

We will continue to offer core programs that communities across Minnesota rely on, including Northstar, SID, Digital Literacy, VISTA, the hotline, and supplemental services. Some in-person programming will operate at a reduced scale in the coming months while we work toward reopening learning centers in a sustainable way later this year.

Literacy Minnesota remains deeply committed to our mission: helping adults gain the literacy skills they need to build stronger futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
