Human Concentration

Purpose:  To help students review vocabulary

Preparation Time: 15 minutes

Materials Needed:  Cards

Preparation:  Create pairs of cards. On one card have a word, ie. "apple." On the second card, have a picture or drawing of an apple. You can also have a vocabulary word on the card and a definition of the word on its pair. 

Procedure:

1. Split the class into two groups. Give each student in one half of the class a card from a pair. Give each student in the other half of the class the matching card.
2. Have students mingle to find the match for their card. Model as much as necessary.
3. Repeat the process with other pairs of cards.
