  • 140 self-paced courses cover general education and special education environments. Courses are organized into bite-sized units and are perfect for training days. Posttests at the end of each course are automatically graded. Training and assessments designed to to qualify paras and meet Title I requirements. Transcripts and course certificates that paraeducators can access to document their training. Content that aligns with CEC standards for paraeducator, endorsed by CASE. Research-based content written by experts in the field.
  • Proxy Hours: Unit completion. The training is divided into courses. While there are 425 modules, participants are only assigned modules 1-13. After a course/module is completed, that session will be marked with the date and time the course was completed. Participants must complete an assessment after each module to reflect their understanding of the course. A total of 13 proxy hours are possible, with one hour awarded per completed module.
    • Criteria for awarding Proxy Hours/Proxy Hour Documentation: Post-tests.
    • Instructors can access records and reports easily from the Reports section. Instructors can view 1) Progress Report; 2) Required Progress; 3) Transcripts; and 4) Assessments. Reports can be viewed and exported as PDF or Excel forms.
  • The state just approved the Paraeducator certification as another option for paraprofessionals so this course is new for Minnesota.
