Marshall Reading Program
- This project was designed to create leveled reading selections that are appropriate for and valued by adult learners. These materials, combined with the research-proven strategies of repeated reading and guided oral reading, aid in building learners' fluency and comprehension skills. This project helps adults become better readers and more informed consumers, parents, employees, citizens and community members. The focus of these reading selections will be on topics such us: Civics, Employment, Housing, Health, School, Money, and Government.
Paper-based: 2 hours for completion of the entire Supplement (except the speaking section). No minimum score is required, but the teacher must verify completion.
Online: 1 hour per completion of the quiz with a score of 70% or higher. Teachers must make a copy of the Google Form quiz to verify completion!
This is a spreadsheet of publicly available Google Form quizzes crowdsourced from ABE teachers in 2020. If you use a quiz from this spreadsheet, you will need to add fields for the learners' names (and email addresses, if desired) to track completion.
This is a spreadsheet of quizzes adapted by South Carolina ABE teachers. These forms already have name fields and will calculate the learners' scores automatically.
