Javier Whitaker-Castañeda

Javier Whitaker-Castañeda is the Communications Coordinator at Literacy Minnesota. Javier believes that access to literacy education plays a key role in mitigating contemporary global problems. His previous experience includes roles in nonprofit communications, environmental education, and translation.
Javier graduated from Amherst College with a BA in Political Science and Spanish. He also holds a TEFL certificate which he has used to teach English to students in various settings from Madrid to Seoul.
