Claire Patzner is an AmeriCorps Emergency Response Member with the Digital Equity Project at Literacy Minnesota. She is a rising senior at Cornell University, where she is pursuing a B.A. in Literatures in English with a minor in Media Studies. She has volunteered doing trail work for the U.S. National Park Service in The Blue Ridge Parkway, and she is currently involved in three literary publications on her college campus. She is also an intern for Come On Out - Japan, where she assists in English Writing Workshops for Japanese students. As someone who is passionate about literature and writing, she believes in the importance of helping others to achieve equity in literacy. In her free time Claire enjoys yoga, ceramics, camping, reading poetry, and listening to Taylor Swift.
